Abstract The World Health Organization says money can spread all varieties of bacteria and viruses. A measure that be taken to help stop the Covid-19 is decreasing or ideally, eliminating, use cash promoting contactless payments. Cash remains a frequently used retail payment method specifically for small-value purchases. switch from cards other methods one major trends in consumer shopping financial behavior. This research investigates explaining factors bank purposes. It builds on an integration Technology Acceptance Model Theory Planned Behavior explain customers’ intention cards. Data was collected with face-to-face survey retailing context. proposed model tested through PLS-SEM approach. Results show perceived usefulness, ease use, subjective norm, behavioral control, attitude are prominent predictors purposes stores. findings provide insights service vendors merchants how increase rather than cash.
